Thought for the day: "Because we are rooted in Christ, we are stronger than life's storms"
Psalm 1:1-3 says "1 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. 3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers."
Strength comes from being "rooted" in Jesus Christ. This happens when we consistently have faith, when we pray continually, and when we meditate on His Word day and night (bible study).
I encourage you all to strengthen your roots in Christ. This will help you overcome whatever challenges you encounter in life. God Bless!
In Christ,
Keith

nice!!!
Awesome advice!
I know that if you do not have solid roots in the lord, you cannot get through any hardship that will come your way. That's a fact!
We need to stand strong in Jesus Christ. Also part of strengthening your roots is getting rid of the trash in your life, that may be holding you down, and keep you from growing.
That was great man! This little piece of advice is exactly along the lines of my thoughts recently. Yeah, having a good root in Christ is what wheighs us down into God's will, and continually supplies us the spiritual nutrients we need in him.
Yeah, what a great example of faith the little tiny plant is of salvation. I feel all tingly now. XD
Prayer and reading your Bible... that's all it takes. God promises you that much! Great encouragement Keith!
