What A Wonderful God

I know it’s been awhile since my last post, so here we go…

I wanted to share something that happened at my work this morning. When I arrived at work, around 7:30am, my manager called everyone in the department into the conference room for a quick meeting. We were informed that the nephew of one of our co-workers had been missing for more than 24 hours. His nephew is 10 years old and was last seen leaving home to catch the school bus in the Schertz area. He never got on the bus. We were all informed of the details of this incident and given an information sheet with the child’s picture on it. Here’s the good news…without any hesitation or disagreement, everyone bowed their head as we were all led in prayer for the missing boy. (Matthew 18:19-20 says “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.") After the prayer the room was silent, no one said a word and just went back to their desk. Within 10 minutes from the time we lifted up this boy in prayer, we received word that he had been found safe and was reunited with his parents! What a great testament to the power of prayer and to the awesome power of God!!! I am truly blessed to work in a department with this type of environment.

I want to encourage all of you to lift up everything to our Lord in Prayer. Ephesians 6:18 says “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” And 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says “pray continually.”

God Bless you all. I’m always praying for you!

In Christ,
Keith
